Privacy

This site doesn't track you. No cookies, no analytics scripts watching your behaviour, no data sold to anyone.

I use privacy-respecting, cookie-free analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages they read. Nothing more. No personal data is collected, no profiles are built, and no information is shared with third parties.

There are no cookie consent banners on this site because there are no cookies to consent to.

Comments

Blog posts have a comment section powered by Cusdis, a lightweight, privacy-focused commenting service. It does not use cookies, does not track you across sites, and does not build a profile of who you are. Your nickname and comment text are stored on Cusdis's servers solely for the purpose of displaying them on this site. An email address is optional and used only for reply notifications if you choose to provide one.

Why

I believe the current model of pervasive surveillance on the web is neither necessary nor ethical. A personal website can exist without extracting data from the people who visit it. This is a small gesture, but a deliberate one.
